You’ve probably noticed my Instagram posts lately are branded with the LIKEtoKNOW.it watermark and link in the caption. I also talked about getting accepted as a partner with rewardStyle. Some of you may be very familiar with both of those names and probably don’t need to read the rest of this post. However, some of you may be wondering what the heck that is. Hopefully this post will answer all of your questions about Like to Know It and rewardStyle!
What is the LIKEtoKNOW.it app?
The LIKEtoKNOW.it app provides an easy way to shop the looks of all your favorite fashion bloggers. If you download the free app, you can choose to follow me here. Then, all of my looks that are published in the app will show up on your LIKEtoKNOW.it home feed. Although I’d LOVE it if you all followed me, you don’t even have to do that to easily shop my looks. You can screenshot any of my pictures posted to Instagram or Facebook and the details will automatically be sent to your LIKEtoKNOW.it app. Plus, you’ll receive an email with links to all the products.
A new feature in the app that I absolutely LOVE is the ‘clean up your screenshots’ option. Most people don’t want a bunch of screenshots clogging up their photo albums, so LIKEtoKNOW.it will delete all of your outfit screenshots with the click of a button.
Do I have to use the app to shop your looks?
No. You can always click the Shop tab at the top of my blog and see my latest looks that have been uploaded to the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. Click on any of those pictures and you’ll find all the links for the products.
The only difference is that there is only a limited number of images that will show. To see looks from a long time ago, you will have to use the app or shop the looks featured in my blog posts.
What is the heart inside the circle in the corner of your pictures?
That is simply the LIKEtoKNOW.it watermark. It helps you quickly recognize the image as one you can screenshot to get all the details. However, images don’t have to have the watermark to be uploaded to the app. It just serves as a sort of symbol.
What is rewardStyle?
RewardStyle is an invitation only affiliate network for fashion, beauty, home design and lifestyle bloggers. It is a platform that allows influencers and bloggers to get paid for the products they share.
RewardStyle is a type of middle-man, connecting bloggers and the retailers that sell the products they use. It allows for bloggers to create shoppable links that they can share with their followers. Then, when someone uses that link to make a purchase, the blogger can earn a commission. The commission isn’t huge and varies among retailers, but has provided an avenue for bloggers to make some additional income.
To me, the best thing about rewardStyle is that shoppers aren’t having to pay anything ‘extra’ to support their favorite bloggers. In fact, one of my favorite thing is finding the absolute best deals to share with all of you. It might mean the commission on the sale is a whopping $0.50, but my goal is always to help you find clothes and products that you actually get excited about buying!
Why I Applied to RewardStyle
There are a couple reasons why I wanted to become of a part of the rewardStyle community. First, I can’t say that I don’t like the idea of being able to make commission from the products I share. There’s a lot of time, money, and effort that go in to running a fashion blog. Being able to make a little bit of extra money from doing something I love is a huge plus!
Secondly, the platform makes it SO EASY to share the clothes and beauty products that I use. People often ask me where I get my clothes and the robust rewardStyle platform and website widgets make it so easy to share all of my stuff!
I never expect anyone to buy anything I share, but I do want to make it easy for you to find the products if you are interested.
I hope that this post helped answer any questions you had about LIKEtoKNOW.it and rewardStyle. If there’s anything I didn’t answer, just comment your questions below! I’m still fairly new to the platform, but so far I’ve had a great experience.
And of course, Happy Shopping!
